Adrian "Neville" won the Cruiserweight championship at the Royal Rumble Credit: WWE

Neville became the WWE Cruiserweight champion for the first time after defeating Rich Swann at the Royal Rumble.

The Geordie grappler forced Swann to submit to a modified crossface in order to secure the title. Neville becomes the fourth competitor to hold the title since the division was brought back to the WWE.

Neville, real name Benjamin Satterley is a former student of Emmanuel College in Gateshead. The Tyneside high flyer started out his wrestling career at the age of 17 at Gateshead Independent Wrestling Federation which has now folded.
