Spamalot set for North East return in new UK tour

Award-winning musical Spamalot is set to return to Sunderland Empire Credit: Selladoor Productions

Monty Python's Spamalot is set to return to the North East as part of its new UK tour.

The Tony award-winning music will show at Sunderland Empire from 10-14 October 2017.

Lifted from the hugely successful 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Spamalot is a riotous comedy full of misfit knights, killer rabbits, dancing nuns and ferocious Frenchmen.

The play is produced by Selladoor Productions, the company also behind Footloose, American Idiot, Avenue Q and Little Shop of Horrors and this brand new UK tour of Spamalot is said to have audiences rolling in the aisles.
