Archbishop of York pays tribute to couple killed in Manchester terror attack

The Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu, has spoken out after the death of two York residents in the Manchester terror attack.

Angelika and Marcin Klis were killed at the Manchester Arena as they waited to collect their daughters from the Ariana Grande concert.

The news of the death of Angelika and Marcin Klis, killed as they waited to collect their daughters from Manchester Arena on Monday night, is a loss which touches us all here in York.

Our hearts go out to their girls and to their wider family and friends. They have our prayers and support at this terrible time.

This is a time for communities to hold together, to care for one another, to respect the privacy of those carrying this grief, and to hold on to the truth that:
