VIDEO: Newcastle 'Lethal High' users in 'zombie' like state

Northumbria Police has re-released footage of 'lethal high' users on the streets of Newcastle, to show the affects the dangerous drugs can have on their users.

In a post on Facebook, the force said:

If people are wondering what the affects of lethal highs look like then take a look at this video we pulled together last year."

The video was put together in 2016, just before New Psychoactive Substances (NPS) were criminalize.

Today, the force said the affects of a new blend of Spice called 'Power' can be even more potent.

Police are hoping the CCTV footage will discourage people from trying 'lethal highs'.

It is cheap to buy and clearly very addictive so we will be working with the city council, ambulance service and public health to offer people the support they need"

Drug users are being warned that they will be arrested if they're found in possession of 'lethal highs'.
