Tributes have been paid to teenager Keiran Maxwell, who has died seven years after bring diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer.
The 18-year-old from Heighington, near Darlington, had opted out of more treatment for Ewing's Sarcoma after the disease spread to other parts of his body.
His family announced the news of his death on Facebook.
Kieran met Prince Harry at the Well Child awards event two years ago.
The teenager set up the Kieran Maxwell Legacy charity to raise money for research into the bone cancer.
