A never-before-seen exhibition of photographs featuring iconic group Queen is set to make a stop in Harrogate.

'Princes of the Universe: Ultimate Queen’ features shots by Denis O’Regan, Queen’s favoured live photographer at the peak of their career.

The photographs illustrate legendary lead singer Freddie Mercury's life on and off stage.

“Selecting the shots has been an evocative experience. It was a special time for me, and I’m reminded of the trust that Freddie, Brian, Roger and John placed in me.”

Along with Off Beat Lounge, he is displaying 60 photographs, over half having never been seen before.

Fans will also have the chance to see a collection of 8ft giant vinyls.

The one-night-only event, with Denis O’Regan in attendance, promises to take visitors on an absorbing journey around the world, from the mid-1970s to the band’s last ever tour with the original line-up in 1986.

Featuring stunning live performance photography, intimate off-stage moments and a glimpse of the band’s outrageous ‘down-time’, organisers say this tour is every bit the spectacle.
