Three men have been arrested near the hydraulic fracking site in Kirkby Misperton.
These arrests came after police received reports that a group of people in dark clothing were running through fields near the village last night.
The men were found at fence with several holes cut into it near the fracking site.
The men, aged 27, 34 and 43, were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage. The 43-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of resisting a police officer and a public order offence.
All three remain in custody.
