Another dry, warm and sunny day for most parts of the region. There's the possibility of locally disruptive thundery rain by this evening as the warm spell comes to a close.
Isolated downpours moving northeast during the evening and at first Saturday night could lead to surface water spray on the regions roads and some difficult or dangerous driving conditions.
A Met Office yellow warning for rain has been issued, valid from 4pm Saturday afternoon until 3am Sunday.
Please note that the showers/thunderstorms will be scattered - so very 'hit and miss' - and not everywhere is guaranteed a soaking, indeed some places could miss them altogether and remain dry.
