A flight from Dubai to Newcastle was diverted to Prague due to medical emergency reportedly involving a baby.
The Emirates Boeing 777 flight departed from Dubai International Airport at 3.42am on Monday and was due to arrive at Newcastle International Airport at 11.20am.
However, almost seven hours into the journey, the plane was forced to make an emergency landing at Prague Václav Havel Airport in the Czech Republic, according to AirLive.
The plane landed just after 10am and, according to one person who claimed to have witnessed what happened, a small baby required urgent medical attention.
A medical team is thought to have been on standby to treat the baby at the airport but the condition of the child is currently unknown.
The plane was ready to depart after around an hour and took off at 11.23am.
