Weather: High pressure brings a fine spell of weather to the North East

Cloud expected to linger throughout the night.

Where any cloud breaks emerge, isolated pockets of fog may form, and also the risk of a grass frost in rural areas.

Any pockets of fog and grass frosts dissipating, leaving another fine day with warm sunshine and light winds.

Some fair weather cloud during the afternoon. Areas of fog developing overnight. Maximum temperature 20 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Any fog clearing Friday morning leaving another fine day.

Early low cloud on Saturday, with coastal winds picking up, but staying dry and sunny. Showers, possibly thundery on Sunday.
