Three people have been released on bail after gunshots were fired at three houses on Teesside.
A 58-year-old woman and two men, aged 55 and 37, have been released with bail conditions. Two other men aged 22 and 30 remain in police custody.
The shots were fired at two addresses in Stockton and one in Thornaby, in the early hours of Tuesday 3 December. Cleveland Police confirmed they are also looking into another incident that happened around midday on Tuesday, when a man was allegedly assaulted with a weapon.
Police say nobody was injured.

- Hartington Road area Stockton Town Centre approx midday – man arrested after another man found with head injuries.
At this stage, Cleveland Police say the attack in Stockton "may be associated" but not directly linked to the events overnight.
The 30-year-old injured man remains in hospital in serious condition.
Extra police patrols, including by armed officers, have been mounted in the areas around central Stockton and in Victor Way in Thornaby.
Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
