Newcastle and Middlesbrough return to FA Cup action on Tuesday night with places in the 4th round of the competition up for grabs.

The Magpies face League One Rochdale at St James' Park, having only managed a 1-1 draw in their first 3rd round match away at Rochdale.

Steve Bruce's side has a raft of injuries going into Tuesday's 3rd round replay, but the Newcastle Head Coach is adamant he will pick the strongest possible team knowing his side will face Oxford United at home in the 4th round should they win on Tuesday.

For too many years we haven't had any Cup run at all. It doesn't do any harm.

We've got two League One teams to beat to be in the fifth round, so let's go for it."

– Steve Bruce, Newcastle United Head Coach

Middlesbrough, meanwhile, are away at Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.

Boro held Spurs to a 1-1 draw at the Riverside, but manager Jonathan Woodgate knows his team will face a different task all together if they're to win at White Hart Lane and progress to the 4th round, where they'll face Southampton away.

The atmosphere will be absolutely amazing down there.

We've got a lot of young players who will be looking forward to it. I'm looking forward to seeing how they deal with it."
