Middlesbrough sign new goalkeeper - Austrian-born Dejan Stojanovic

Middlesbrough has signed goalkeeper Dejan Stojanovic from Swiss side St Gallen.

The 26-year-old has joined on a three-and-a-half year contract and his arrival comes 24 hours after the departure of Darren Randolph.

Stojanovic, is an Austrian-born former Macedonian U21 international.

He has played in Serie B with Bologna and Crotone and joins the Teesside club from Swiss side St Gallen.

He clocked up over 50 appearances for the club and featured in the UEFA Europa League.

Boro head coach Jonathan Woodgate said:

We’re delighted to be able to sign Dejan. With Darren joining West Ham it was important that we added competition for the goalkeepers who are here.

Stojanovic will link up with his teammates for the first time on Sunday.
