A teenage boy has been arrested after a police chase in what officers believed was a stolen car.
The 14-year-old was arrested after Cleveland Police's Dog Unit discovered him hiding in a garden after an alleged theft of a Seat Ibiza.
The incident happened in Middlesbrough on Friday, January 3 at around 9.45pm.
The force said officers spotted the alleged stolen car and a "pursuit occurred", resulting in the driver doing a runner.
Shortly after, PC Rashad and PD Rocky from the Dog Unit set to work in a bid to try and find the suspect.
PD Rocky managed to track a teen hiding in the garden of a property half a mile away.
This is an excellent example of how powerful and skilled police dogs are.
