Police investigating after teenage boy stabbed in Seaton Carew

Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident in Seaton Carew whereby a 16-year-old boy suffered a stab wound caused by an unknown implement.

It happened at around 5:30pm on Friday 14th February.

The victim had been playing in a football game at The Sports Domes on Tees Road.

After a verbal altercation, the boy was chased out of The Sports Domes by a group of males and was assaulted.

The boy received treatment for his injury at Hartlepool Urgent Care. His injuries are not life-threatening.

Officers would appeal for anyone who may have dashcam footage from anyone dropping off or picking up from The Sports Dome or any witnesses to contact them.
