Woman charged after allegedly coughing at staff and mentioning coronavirus at shop in Middlesbrough.

A woman has been charged with common assault after she alleged coughed at security staff and mentioned coronavirus at a shop in Middlesbrough.

Cleveland Police said that Leanne Stapleton, aged 39, has been charged with theft and common assault after the incident in Dundas Arcade.

She is due to appear before Teesside Magistrates Court on Monday 30th March.
