It has been announced that flights will resume at Teesside airport from Monday 22 June.
On 24 March all flights to and from Teesside were grounded as part of efforts to limit the spread of coronavirus.
Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen said the move to lift flight suspensions will see daily Eastern Airways flights to Aberdeen and Belfast reinstated.
Posting the news on Twitter, he also announced a new route from the airport.
From July, passengers will be able to travel to Newquay from Teesside.
The first flights on the new route will takeoff on July 6 2020.
