Family of cyclist who died in Teesside crash pay tribute to 'dearly loved father'

The family of a cyclist who died in a road traffic collision on Teesside say their lives will never be the same. Graham Pattison, 49, from Hartlepool, died after a crash on the A689 on July 24. He was travelling eastbound between Wynyard and Sedgefield at around 4pm.


Graham was a dearly loved husband, father and son. We are in shock at his loss and our lives will never be the same without him.

Family statement

Police continue to appeal for information and witnesses to the collision, which involved a white Ford Fiesta and black Audi TT. Officers say the vehicles were seen leaving the A1 and they are also looking for information about the vehicles before the collision. A 22-year-old woman and a 46-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of driving offences and are assisting police with their enquiries.Anyone with dash cam footage is asked to contact Cleveland and Durham Specialist Operations Unit on 101, reference 119601.
