Two men arrested after teenagers stabbed outside Middlesbrough pizza shop

Two teenage men have suffered "stab injuries" during an early-morning town centre incident, police say.Emergency services were called to the scene near Soprano's pizza shop, Wilson Street, Middlesbrough, at around 2.30am on Saturday.Cleveland Police have also confirmed a 19-year-old man and a 29-year-old man have been arrested in connection with the incident.The North East Ambulance Service transported two people to James Cook University Hospital.A police cordon has been erected along the stretch of pavement from Soprano's pizza shop to the Dundas Shopping Centre entrance.The force is appealing for information and witnesses who were in the area at the time.A spokesperson said: "Middlesbrough detectives are appealing for information following reports of an incident in the town overnight where two men suffered stab injuries."The incident was near to Sopranos, Wilson Street, Middlesbrough in the early hours of this morning, around 2.30am on Saturday August 29."Two teenage males suffered stab injuries and one of the males is hospitalised."A 19-year-old man and a 29-year-old man have been arrested in connection with the incident."Detectives are appealing for witnesses to the incident and to drivers who were in the area at the time and may have dashcam footage."Police officers and one police car remained at the scene on Saturday afternoon.The entrance to the Dundas Shopping Centre & Indoor Market, at the side near to B&M, also remains closed.
