With rising temperatures and more extreme weather conditions, talking about climate change is another part of our new normal.

The debate over what we can do about it - and how much of that can be local action - continues. 

Here in the North East many of our councils say they've been protecting environmental projects during lockdown and even working together to hit green targets.
