Competitive history: Represented Scotland in 5,000m and 10,000m at 2010 Commonwealth Games; Winner of Great Ireland Run 2010; Winner of Great Yorkshire Run 2009 and 2010; Winner of scottishathletics National Cross Country six times.

Murray's place in Team GB was only confirmed on Monday, after Paula Radcliffe dropped out due to injury. She has only run one competitive marathon, in London in April 2012, where she finished as second-fastest British woman, earning her place as standby for the Olympics.
