Two royals are in the region today, Prince William and Prince Charles. The Prince of Wales is on Teesside, visiting PD Ports in Middlesbrough to mark 50 years of trading through Tees Dock.
His Royal Highness will meet some of the company's longest serving employees, as well as those who've been supported by the charity The High Tide Foundation, which helps young people get into employment.
Meanwhile, Prince William will visit Sunderland, and a new accommodation centre opened by the homeless children's charity, Centrepoint. The Duke of Cambridge is a patron of the charity. Later, he'll go to South Shields to open the town's new Haven Point leisure centre.
Prince William and Prince Charles will be welcomed to the North East. The Duke of Cambridge will visit a homeless shelter in Sunderland and then head to South Shields. The Prince of Wales will be in Middlesbrough to mark 50 years of trade through Tees Dock.
