Wednesday night saw the Aurora Borealis light up the night sky.
Flashes of red, green and pink were seen across the region thanks to clear skies.
Hopefully it will set the scene for further spectacles in 2017.
Tonight is the best chance to see the Northern Lights in our region for a long time.
No guarantees - but if it does happen you might want to know how to photograph it.
