The star studded event recognises and celebrates the work of unsung heroes as well as those who lead exceptional lives despite facing serious challenges. Cheryl watched her fellow Tynesider Tony Phoenix-Morrison, known as Tony the Fridge, win the Fundraiser of the Year award.
