Little Mix makes rich list after raking in £48m

Pop band Little Mix have made Heat Magazine's list of the 30 richest celebrities under 30 year old.

The four piece moves from tenth place to sixth place with £48 million.

The figure is partly thanks to high profile commercial endorsements - everything from fashion dolls to dry shampoo - as well as chart success and touring. The girls have just released Woman Like Me, performing it live on The X Factor.

Little Mix is made up of Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards from South Shields, and their bandmates Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

Praise for police officer who reassured young music fan

A Durham Police officer has been praised for reassuring a young concert goer who was scared to attend a gig in Chester-le-Street.

Chris Storey was on his way to a concert Little Mix on Saturday, but got cold feet because of the Manchester Arena bombing in May.

That's when a friendly police constable stepped in to reassure him, and Helen Pearson was there to see them reunited earlier:

Jade's Geordie dinner before Little Mix arena gig

Jade Thirlwall has never hidden the fact that she enjoys a home-cooked meal, and a chocolate biscuit! Little Mix thank North East supporters ahead of BRITs

The Little Mix singers are up for two BRIT Awards and they have thanked North East fans for supporting them this far.

Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards are from South Shields and are very vocal when it comes to their appreciation of home support.

Black Magic is up for Best British Video and Best Single.
