A 63-year-old lorry driver has been committed to Warwick Crown Court after being charged with causing the death of a four-year-old by dangerous driving.
Robert Booth, of Brockley Street, Town End Farm, Sunderland, appeared at Solihull Magistrates Court today charged with causing the death of Priyanka Bhogal.
Priyanka, from Coventry, suffered fatal injuries when the car she was travelling in was involved in a collision on the M6 in the early hours of Sunday November 27 last year.
Mr Booth, who did not enter a plea, is due to appear at Warwick Crown Court on July 24.
