The family of a motorcyclist who died near the border between Cleveland and North Yorkshire have paid tribute to him.
Richard Hansen, 24, from Saltburn, died when his motorcycle crashed on A171 Moor Road near Scaling Dam yesterday afternoon.
His parents said: "Richard went to Saltburn Primary and Huntcliff Schools and he was in his final year at the University of Teesside as a media student.
"He was a wonderful, loving, kind son and brother and his death will leave a big gap in our family."
Cleveland Police are urging anyone who was travelling in the Scaling Dam area at around 3pm yesterday to contact them on the non-emergency 101 number, quoting event 88501.
