Police searching for a missing Teesside teenager are appealing for him to get into contact with them as soon as possible to let them know that he is safe and well.

14-year-old TeeJay Huggett has not been seen since Sunday 10 February, and although officers believe that he may have been in contact with others to say that he is safe, they are urging him to contact them so they can be sure.

A number of addresses have been searched and police are continuing to speak to family and friends in order to trace him.

Police also believe that there are a number of people who already know where the 14-year-old may be, and they are re-iterating that these people are not helping TeeJay or themselves by holding onto this information.

TeeJay is white, around 5ft 4 inches tall, of slim build, with a fair complexion, short light brown hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a grey tracksuit top and bottoms, a black hooded coat and grey training shoes.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Cleveland Police on 101.
