Police believe a body found in the River Tyne is that of missing Newcastle University student, Jason Fyles.
The body was recovered from the river near the Millennium Bridge yesterday afternoon, June 26.
19-year-old Jason was last seen in the Sandyford area of Newcastle after a night out on Thursday May 16th.
He moved to Tyneside nine months ago to study town planning. He was living at Newcastle University’s halls of residence at Bowsden Court in South Gosforth.
Newcastle University have appealed for help to find missing student Jason Fyles. The 19-year-old has been missing for three weeks.
