The Duke of Cambridge got his hands dirty as he helped to prepare a chicken curry during a visit to a centre for young homeless people.
Prince William was visiting Centrepoint's Sunderland base where he was hearing about the challenges faced by young people as they try to rebuild their lives.
During the visit he donned an apron and joined in with a cookery lesson.
