The funeral of a Second World War veteran is expected to be attended by a large amount of mourners today, November 26, after an appeal was made for people to come and pay their respects.
Frederick Leach, who was 94, died in a care home two weeks ago.
The service will take place at St Bede's Chapel in Middlesbrough this afternoon.
