Hundreds of people have paid tribute to a well-known former amateur boxer, who died after suffering serious injuries at a New Year's Eve party in Hartlepool.
Police were called to a property in Hutton Avenue at around 10.20pm. The 31 year old man, named locally as Mark Denton, was taken to hospital, but pronounced dead.
A 17 year old is under arrest.
