Arrest made in Nikki Allan murder case
Police have arrested a 43-year-old man on suspicion of the murder of Nikki Allan, who was seven years old when she was found dead on October 8, 1992,
Man arrested and bailed in Nikki Allan murder case
It is understood the man arrested in connection with with the death of seven-year-old Nikki Allan is 43-year-old Steven Grieveson.
Nikki was found in a derelict building near to her family home at Wear Garth in Sunderland in October 1992. She had suffered 37 stab wounds.
Mr Grieveson has been bailed pending further enquiries.
