Cheryl's single I Don't Care has gone straight to the top of the UK chart, making her the first British female to have five solo number ones.

The singer from Newcastle, who is also a judge on the X Factor, also had another four number one singles with her group Girls Aloud.

With her latest hit, she has overtaken Geri Halliwell and Rita Ora, who have four number ones each.

However, she has a long way to go to beat the best international female, Madonna, who has thirteen UK number ones, Rihanna who has seven and Kylie Minogue, who has eight.
