Army cadets 'threatened with beheading'

Two young female cadets have been allegedly threatened with comments relating to a beheading by two men in a car as they were leaving a Territorial Army centre.
It happened on January 21, near the Army Reserves centre in Alexandra Road.
The girls then reported the incident to police, who are now investigating the exact nature of what was said during the incident.
Detectives have released a CCTV image of two men who they want to speak to in connection with the incident.
The two men are described by the girls as being:
"I would personally like to thank the local community for their amazing donations of food, toiletries and clothing. "

There has been resistance to calls to dismantle memorials to the explorer.
