Karanka: 'Mourinho will learn from Chelsea woes'

Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka says close friend Jose Mourinho will learn from his recent struggles with Chelsea.

The Premier League champions won the title at a canter last season, but are currently 15th in the table this term after suffering five defeats from their opening ten games.

However Karanka, who was Mourinho's assistant at Real Madrid, thinks the Portuguese will come back even stronger from the experience. He said:

It's the first time that he is in that position.

But he's the best, he's the strongest and I'm sure that he's going to be successful again.
