The Kielder marathon and half-marathon have taken place on Sunday.
Hundreds of runners have enjoyed spectacular autumn sunshine while taking part in a race described by it's organisers as 'Britain's most beautiful marathon.
The winner of the men's race was Cees Van Der Land, a Dutch runner based in Newcastle. He said "I'm very happy, very happy. I did it two years ago and I got third place. Luckily number one and two didn't show up today so that's very good!"
Debra Crozier, 51, from Washington, won the women's race, just a year after running her first ever half marathon. She said, "I can't believe it, I really can't believe it. I feel better than I did when I finished the half marathon last year".

The Kielder Marathon follows an almost entirely off-road course around northern Europe’s largest man-made lake, Kielder Water, in Northumberland.
It was part of a weekend of events, starting with the Kielder 10K & Kielder Run Bike Run on Saturday, and followed by the Kielder Half Marathon and Junior races on Sunday.
Many of those taking part were raising money for charities.
