Pedestrian hit by car in Blaydon

Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was hit by a car in Gateshead.

The collision happened between 8pm and 8.30pm on October 2, on the A695 in Blaydon near to McDonalds.

The pedestrian, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Officers are carrying out enquiries into the collision and are appealing for witnesses. Officers are also keen for the driver of the vehicle to get in contact.
