Weight loss surgery patients 'felt guilt'

An academic from Sunderland University has found that patients who have weight loss surgery are reluctant to tell people because of the stigma of being labelled cheats.

Dr Yitka Graham spoke to 18 patients at the UK's busiest NHS bariatric surgical unit at Sunderland Royal Hospital, with some saying they felt guilt at the cost of their operation.
