Warkworth has been singled out as one of the most iconic cricket scenes in the UK.
The accolade has come in a book called "The Country's Most Iconic Cricket settings". The author, Brian Levison, travelled to grounds around the country.
The club sits in the shadow of Warkworth Castle, with views out to sea to the Coquet Estuary.
Despite its relatively small catchment area, the club has won the Northumberland League Premier Division 7 times and the Thomas Wilson Cup, a knockout competition, on 9 occasions, most recently in 2011.
