Breivik says World of Warcraft game-playing 'nothing to do with 22 July'

Norwegian newspaper website Aftenbladet report that the prosecution asked Anders Breivik what awakened the desire to take a year off to play World of Warcraft.

Breivik replied that he believed in the period 2002-2006 when he was working 12-14 hours a day.

He then denied it was a violent game and said it was a fantasy game and a strategy game.

He also said:

" I know that it is important for the prosecution and the media to focus much on WoW and games. But it is entertainment, and has nothing to do with 22 July. It's not a world you are immersed, it is a hobby."
