Michael Fassbender talks about Ridley Scott's eagerly awaited 3D epic

Hollywood star Michael Fassbender told ITV's Daybreak that he's not a sci-fi geek, and he still gets starstruck when he meets his idols. He was speaking ahead of the release of 'Prometheus', the multi-million dollar epic designed to be a prequel to the 'Alien' films.

Michael plays the role of an android designed to be indistinguishable from humans, but he develops his own ego. 'Prometheus' marks director Ridley Scott's return to science fiction for the first time in 30 years. The 3D movie took four years to make, with a rumoured budget of $130 million.
