An Austrian scuba diving instructor has been charged with two counts of negligence in connection with the disappearance of a British yachtsman on a round-the-world trip.
Sean Terry was last heard from on June 18 in the middle of the Indian Ocean. .
A statement issued by Mr Terry's family says:
The Terry family in Cape Town were notified today that at the court hearing this morning in the Seychelles Stefan Pokorny was charged under two articles of Seychelles law to do with negligence. (Details of the negligence cases have not yet been clarified to the family.)
They were told that in two weeks Pokorny will enter his plea and a trial date will be set.
