Cat caught smuggling jailbreak equipment to Brazil prisoners

Brazilian prison officials apprehended a small white cat that was being used to smuggle equipment to prisoners in a Brazilian jail.

Prison guards at Judge Luiz de Oliveira Souza prison in Arapiraca, in Alagoas state, became suspicious when they saw the small white feline trying to creep past them and stopped the animal.

Strapped to its body they found a mobile phone, charger, headphones, memory cards batteries, drills bits and two saws.

A prison spokesperson told newspaper Estado de Sao Paulo: "It's hard to know which of our prisoners is responsible for this, since the cat isn't talking."
