Chicago police could see $500 bonus after a murder-free 2012

Police in Chicago could be up for a $500 bonus this year as a reward for a murder-free 2012.

The city of Aurora's council will vote later this month on the proposals to give the cops in the Chicago suburb the hand out - it has already been passed by the finance committee.
