Speaking to Houston TV station ABC 13, one Lone Star student said he saw two injured people in the aftermath of the shooting and near one there was a man in handcuffs:
I was in the library studying, out of nothing I heard five gunshots I think.
People came running in the library, the librarian came to us and didn't want us to go outside, they kept us for like 30 minutes, then evacuated us
When we were getting out there was a lot of blood on the floor. I saw a guy on the floor, I think he was shot in the leg, I saw him, he was conscious.
There was one inside the building and one outside and beside him there was one guy in handcuffs.
