Death toll in Bangladesh building collapse rises to 450

The death toll from the Bangladesh building collapse has risen to 450 people, authorities have said, as workers use cranes to remove the rubble.

The rescue effort is continuing at the site in Savar, around 19 miles outside Dhaka, though proceeding cautiously to keep bodies intact.

The official number of people missing stands at 149, though unofficial estimates are higher.
