Poll urges online image control

An ITV News/ComRes Poll has revealed that 73% of people want all pornographic content online to be automatically filtered out by their internet provider, with customers having to opt in if they want to view it.

Internet 'helping police trace and prosecute perpetrators'

Peter Davies, Chief Executive of the Child Exploitation and Online Protection centre (CEOP), said although the internet had increased the availability of images of child abuse, it also enables police to trace criminal activity and prosecute perpetrators.
