Cybermen take over Heathrow airport

Sci-Fi fans passing through Heathrow airport were greeted by Cybermen and a Tardis today as part of the show's 50th anniversary celebrations.

The takeover is part of BBC Worldwide's celebration of the show ahead of its 50th anniversary in November.

Show writer, Steven Moffat, said: "We are delighted to announce another extension to Heathrow’s world-beating facilities – all of space and time in a stylish blue box, complete with phone. Heathrow with time travel – nobody need ever be late again."
