Brit 'framed' for Iraq murders

A former British paratroopers who was jailed in Iraq for killing two colleagues at a private security firm has said he was 'framed'. In footage obtained by ITV News, Danny Fitzsimons also sends a message to the families of his two victims.

British ex-soldier claims he was 'framed' for Iraq murders

A British security guard who shot dead two colleagues in Iraq in 2009 has claimed he was framed for the murders in footage obtained exclusively by ITV News.

Danny Fitzsimons was working for a private security firm in Baghdad's Green Zone when he shot dead Briton Paul McGuigan and Australian Darren Hoare. Today, he is serving a 20-year prison sentence for their murders.

Speaking from his prison in Iraq, Fitzsimons admits he pulled the trigger but claims it was self-defence.
